To mark World Food Day on 16 October, the Partage food bank, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), ma-terre, the City of Geneva and the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) invite you to discover their joint stand in the central hall of Cornavin station on 13 & 14 October.
At a time when the food crisis is affecting whole sections of the population at every level (shortages of food and raw materials, increasing malnutrition, rising prices, growing food insecurity, etc.), the theme of World Food Day 2022, ” leaving no one behind “, is more than ever a priority.
The stand is part of a drive to mobilise solidarity and collective action, by raising awareness of common issues. It is also an opportunity to present the actions of our partners, through fun activities such as quizzes, animations and the distribution of soup prepared from unsold vegetables.
